I tried after rahaar saying OE remote worked perfect
Openelec RC is working very well after all. Only problem I found was STAR button is the BLUE button.
Menu > Setup > System > RUC Select > WeTek Play OpenElec RC
The feed can't find osc** only osc** lite but works

@birali you say online update is ok, but there is no online update in any of the menus, that I can see.

My OE RCU failed, serious thinking about purchasing an Amiko Alien 2 remote, to see if that works.

( I've even swapped batteries or remotes & still no joy)

Any other ideas ?

.... So a very quick and simple fix for this while I work on button mappings for the OpenELEC and Alien/Alien2+ type remote controls is as follows:

1) Download attached keyids.pyo file
2) FTP into receiver (FTP will still be active even with the Enigma2 error) and head to /usr/lib/enigma2/python
3) Find and delete file in this directory named keyids.pyo
4) FTP over new keyids.pyo file downloaded in step 1
5) Fully reboot receiver either via E2 menu (if available), telnet issuing reboot command or by power off/power on if no other option

Question: I am using an App called Filezilla, & it allows me to interact between my laptop & Wetek.

But it does not allow me to delete the file in question on Wetek, how can I do this ?

Ok..I think I'm on the route to freedom.

As I initially tried to amend the keyed file & no joy. Whilst using the Olive Tree App (installed onto Wetek box), but no joy but will follow this;

There was no need to purchase a new Remote, I just needed to be patient & not get fustrated & confused.
