MoviePlayer Version 1.0

moviemovie Posts: 23WeTek Community Member
Hello to all,
I find that MoviePlayer is an excellent application, but I can not see the subtitles
with .srt and pgs extension inside the mkv movie while other applications such as mx player do.
Please is possible to have an application update?

I think that's just the basic player that comes with AOSP. It's pretty bare bones. I might be biased, since I was involved with the project for about five years, but I would recommend using Kodi. Or more specifically, WePlayer, which is a Kodi version specific for WeTek that has some additional fixes.

Likewise, SPMC is another Kodi fork that has fixes and even some additional features, but you might want to start out with just WePlayer to keep it simple.

Anything based on Kodi, including "vanilla" Kodi, will handle subtitles very well.

It's possible with WePlayer see a movie on the hard disk without loading it in the bookstore?
Excuse me for this question, but I am not an expert in these things.

What you mean by bookstore? But you can watch a movei though your USB disk with weplayer sure.
    Just go to
    videos tab,
    Files,
Select your disk an browse the move you want to watch.

    best regards

    Hello Thrall
For me Kodi, WePlayer and the Android system is all new.
The speech is long, English is not my native language.
However, now I am beginning to understand how it works.
With various hard drive connected and how to dispose of films that are unnecessary.
Thanks again and sorry if disorder with these foolish questions.
I wish everyone Happy New Year and so much happiness.
