WeOS 3.0.2 has been released which includes some quick fixes from the feedback of our community








We're proud to announce that we start seeding the OTA update of WeTek Core OS v3.0.2



To download and apply the update directly from your device, simply access WeUpdate app from My Apps select “On-line Update”.



Here are the bug-fixes you will get with the new WeOS 3.0.2


WeOS v3.0.2 for Core

Changelog:

- WeOS Launcher bug fixes
- Bug fix for some streaming apps
- Various fixes regarding system’s performance and stability.









For the update, we advise to disconnect the HDD's.

After installing, we always recommend a reboot on WeTek Core.

    Sorry to say, but Amazon Prime Video still not working.

    Rectification, you need to uninstall the app if previously installed and then install it again in order to get the app working.

    Tried that, and also cleared cache and data, but doesn't work. No video with Amazon Prime.

    Something else to try prior of reinstalling old version of the OS?

    Which app did you install after uninstalling the previous version? I installed "Amazon Instant Video" from the Aptoid store, not the Amazon Prime Video from Google Play.

    I choose to give it a try, and indeed Amazon prime works, but now my other app DAZN it doesnt work anymore...

    For this new OS, Please post links (and instructions) to the do an upgrade (saving settings and apps) AND a complete clean install with all settings/apps erased. Thanks.

    Kodi is not working after this update and also Google Play Store seems to be gone...

    KODI isn't an update problem, it's updated automatically (probably) on your Core to KODI 17 which doesn't work good with the Core. You can use the Wetek Player (which is a fork of KODI 16) instead.

    just update with wetek 3.0.2. Now its even worse, no wifi and no detection of ethternet cable. Any ideas?

    I'm bumping this request. WeTek please post this info, If I am to rebuild my core (yet again), we need this posted. If it is posted somewhere and I am missing it, my apologies, please direct me to it. Thank You.

    This is not working out. I gave the new interface a good old long try. Wifi stopped working. I'm going back to V2.

    Is there a chance that the WeOS could be run from from the mSD instead of the internal flash?
    I have LibreElec on the flash.

    Unfortunately, Android cannot run on the SDcard.
    Maybe try out the other way?
    Android NAND and Libreelec on the Sdcard?

    Hello good day
    I'm having problems with Netflix and Core & I see that I am not the alone with these problems,

    Wetek have in mind to launch an update to solve these crashes?

    The solution to clean cache + data, is not practical and the truth is that buy this Core for use for Netflix (for the HD in app) and these inconveniences, do not do well to the brand.

    Edit: We also have Crashes with Google Play Movies.

    Just performed the update but it gets as far as loading apps then just sits there forever any ideas?

    Fixed it after faffing around had to do a factory reset from android.
    Still refused to load wipe/clear cache and update all good now

    The load of App in new update is necessary, it only remains patience to pull over all app to the new system.

    To improve the performance I advise to use another launcher (I use action launcher 3 in my case) and the use of clean master to eliminate the notifications in the background, that its accumulation makes the system go unstable.

    Just updated my wetek core with ota 3 (yes i know, its very late). But it's not coming further then optimalizing apps, when its finished with this, it's goes around again and starts over with this action, again and again. Now i can't get in the menu and can't use my wetek.

    @Dave79

    Try the following.

    Power Off your device
    Disconnect your power supply.
    Underneath your Device, you have an update button (Small Hole)
    With the update nail provided in your package, press and hold that update button
    While pressing, connect your power supply
    Keep pressing the button for 10 more seconds.

    After a few seconds the device will boot into the recovery menu.

    From the recovery menu, select

    Wipe data / factory reset.

    This process will erase all your data, but hopefully will also erase and correct some corrupted filesystem you might have.

    After the process is finished, you can select

    Reboot System Now.

    You can follow this video to help you apply the steps i mentioned above,

    Hi ..

    it seams that you unzipped the file, you need to put the downloaded file on the SD without unzipping it , just download it and copy it as is to the SD card
